The ask:
Create awareness and hype for KFC’s new limited edition face masks.
The solution:
Positioned these KFC Face Masks as Finger Lickin’ Chic accessories that will always complete your ‘look’ whether you’re going out in the day or night.
Official KV
For this campaign, we were tasked to art direct and shoot newly launched KFC Face Masks that came in 2 colors and designs: Black and White. We were then to readapt the static KV into an animated version for the Launch. The KV was re-adapted and displayed as in-store and on-app banners.
Teasers
To tease the launch of KFC’s Face Masks, we ask the audience to guess what two influencers were missing in order to complete their 'look’. This post was also adapted into an Instagram Story quiz, asking our audience to pick an answer from the options. We released a second teaser on Instagram Story, teasing the audience with two vibrant designs and asking them to guess what merchandise KFC was going to release.
Launch
To launch these Finger Lickin’ Chic Face Masks, we created a video marketing them as being able to make any day or night look tastier.
Engagement
To drive excitement over the mask, we leveraged the indecisive behaviour of KFC’s fans, and helped them make a decision on which KFC mask to get based on their ‘personality’.
Last Call
To create urgency, we launched a final call post showcasing what could happen if they continued to procrastinate instead of buying the masks immediately.
