Tired Records: Pick of the Lot!

The ask:
Tired Records, an independent record label based in Singapore, was releasing a compilation of covers by Singaporean bands of other Singaporean bands.

Thus, the ask from the label was to create an eye-catching cassette cover.

The solution:
To create a vibrant cassette illustration and design that encapsulated different elements that represent each band.

My work revolved around creating the illustration and putting together the design for the cassette packaging. Different elements in the artwork represent each and one of the participating bands: Anchor beer cans stand for the band Xingfoo&Roy, Tamago sushi represents Forests, white cats represent Cosmic Child or Link from The Legend of Zelda stand for one of Mediocre Haircut Crew's hits.

Over 250 copies were distributed locally and sold to the international audience via bandcamp.
